Unfortunately, most lip balms do have a drying effect if used long term. The ideal products are those which contain hydrating ingredients and not loads of mineral oil. So something like Nimue’s Hydro Lip therapy or Skin Medica’s Lip Plump system (even if your main goal is not plumping, but long term hydration). These are great products that can be used long term and actually maintain hydration.
