Question: Eczema

Hi, I have eczema on my hands. It runs in my family. Is there a cream that I can use to help? Perhaps one that is a steroid?

Answer

Hi there Claire. Thank you for your question. There are actually a few things that you can do. If you want a steroid cream, you would have to get the appropriate strength cream prescribed by your doctor or dermatologist. If you’re looking for a mild over-the-counter cortisone cream then you can get Mylocort cream over the counter at any pharmacy. What I do suggest you do, is get yourself Lamelle’s Ovelle capsules. It is a very potent oral anti-oxidant that is unbelievably good for the skin. It also helps to get that cellular skin mutation that causes the skin to become so red and itchy and flakey under control. I would very highly recommend them. We have many of our patients on these with great results. They are available at all our Skin Renewal Branches.
