Question: Foundation

Hi there :) So I am in the market to buy a new foundation but with so many choices, brands and types it becomes confusing. I have combination skin, sometimes oily with a blemish or two and sometimes dry, especially now in winter. Thing is I have tried the moisturizing foundations like Bobby Browns luminous foundation and it just seems to slide off, and lasts about 2 hours, even if I dust powder on my face. I want a foundation that still gives that natural dewy look, but has good coverage and will last a long time. I am looking to spend not more than R400. I hope you can help with a few good options for me, I know I'm asking a lot from a foundation :) haha! Thank you

Answer

Hello

I have fallen in love with Maybeline mineral make up as well as Clarins foundation just because they are so simple to use. the Clarins slides on and I love that it makes my skin glow in a way that no other foundation has especially because I have naturally dehydrated skin. The Maybeline can be used every where which is a such a dream for me during photo shoots as well as for weddings. A bit in moisturiser can be used on the body to give a bit of colour and can also be used to give an even appearance through out the body. Both are not too pricey and will go a long way if your want something thats worth the money in terms of its usage as well
