Dull hair is either caused by product build-up on the hair which needs clarifying, or caused from the hair being chemically over processed, or from the hair being dry. The solution is to have the hair well clarified with a clarifying shampoo, followed by a good quality treatment like Dark and Lovely ANTI Breakage Healing Treatment to reinforce and nourish the hair. Treat your hair weekly until you feel that your hair is stronger and more flexible and resilient. Breakage is from stressing the hair usually from relaxers being done too often, we recommend every 8-10 weeks rather that the monthly regime many women follow. If you are not relaxing, perhaps tight braiding or plaiting is the cause. Using inferior quality products is more costly in the loing run. Invest in Dark and Lovely shampoos, conditioners and treatments to ensure that you hair gets the best possible care.
