Thanks for the question! Dark colours usually make your eyes bigger, so black, deep purple, dark grey and brown are your best bets. But you also need to blend it with other lighter colours (kind of like a smoky eye) to avoid that emo-racoon look. Also, maybe try eyeshadow that has a shimmer or glitter in it to make your eyes really pop.
