I am so sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Firstly, we need to ascertain what type of dark mark this is. Is it hormonal pigmentation? Is it dark circles from poor blood and lymph circulation under the eyes? Has it come from having had an injury under the eye? Has it been there since birth or did it develop later? Is it worse at some times of the year than at others? Is it the same on both sides or more so on one side than the other? Or, could there perhaps be some underlying trigger that is causing this to appear beneath your eyes? The trick when it comes to treating any form of pigmentation or darkening on the skin is to ascertain the trigger or the cause, because then we know what to do to remove or lighten it. The treatment can be quite different for each of these scenarios. If it is pigmentation, there are certain lightening products, and topicals that can suppress the formation of the pigment… however, if the problem is circulatory, those products will not work.
