How effective are hyaluronic acid oral supplements? Are there any side effects?

There are a couple of HA supplements on the market at the moment, but how much of that Hyaluronic acid actually reaches your skin after it’s been through your digestive system, is debatable. I’m also not sure how many of them are available in SA. If you really want to try and help your skin and your joints with HA, try taking supplements of Omega 3, Chondroitin, Glucosamine and these are pretty much the building blocks of Hyaluronic Acid. You should also consider taking Ovelle Tablets (from Lamelle). These tabs contain a high concentration of Pycnogenol which will stop the breakdown of your own skin’s HA and collagen.
