I seem to be going through a phase. I have pimples on my face which is oily on a T-zone and when they heal they cause marks. What can I do to reduce the breakouts and the marks what can I use to remove them?

Answer

Thank-you so much for your question. You are getting, “Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation” from the pimples. What we are going to have to do for you is get your oiliness under control as this will add to your problem if not controlled. We also need to work on the marks that are already there, and prevent more from forming. My best suggestion is that you come in to one of our Skin Renewal Branches and let us take a good look at your problem and see how severe it is, so we can give you the best possible prescription. To sort out what is already on your skin, I’m going to suggest a combination of homecare products (most likely you would need to go onto one or two of the products from Lamelle’s Clarity Range), as well as a product for the existing marks (such as Lumixyl). We may also need to look at some treatments for you, possibly some chemical resurfacing and possibly some Limelight.
