Question: Ingredients In Skincare And Makeup Products

For someone who has combination and acne prone skin, is it really better to go the all natural route when it comes to skincare and makeup products - no fragrances, np parabens, no colours, no animal products, organic etc. etc. Does this really make a difference?

Answer

I understand where you’re going with your question, and it should be a simple answer… however, there is just SO much you need to consider. It’s not a simple "yes/no" answer. I would say that you do need to consider a few things if you are battling with oily, acne-prone skin, then i would definitely say you have to consider staying away from products with an excessively oily base. Of all things you need to make sure that your foundation is a good product (something like Lycogel treatment foundation). I would say staying away from products that are excessively frangrant is a good idea. I would definitely say that your product that is going to make the biggest difference is definitely your foundation. Also, stay away from putting loads of powder over your foundation.
