Question: Product Help

Over the past 3 years I have had many skin problems with blemishes, the blemishes leaving scars and red marks on my face and just many days I felt so bad about myself I covered it all in layers of make up which did it no good..I stopped with the make up and things got considerably better, but now I am stuck with red marks and quite a bit of scars...I have oily skin and I have been through countless products in the past few years, What type of products should I use now? I don't want to upset it all over again. I also don't want to spend too much on one face product because I simply wouldn't be able to afford it each month or so. What is your advice? I currently am using a simple Tea tree wash and the matching tea tree toner followed by the Vichy Normaderm moisturizer. I still do get a pimple here and there at times. Thanks in advance

Answer

Thank you for your question. I hear your frustration and I really want to do my best to help you. There are a few things that are absolutely NOT negotiable when it comes to how you are going to have to manage your skin. You have got to wear a good facial SPF every single day to avoid those red marks from becoming permanent dark spots. You can, by all means, carry on with your tea tree wash and toner. I’m not too familiar with your moisturiser, but as long as you are happy with what it is doing for your skin and it is not causing any excessive oiliness or discomfort, then it should be fine. What I am going to suggest is that you simply do the following: Get yourself Lamelle’s Active control Gel from the Clarity Range just to use when you are suffering with active break outs and excessively oily patches, so that you dont get those spots becoming red and then eventally going the route of becoming permanent spots and scars. Also, as I mentioned earlier, you need to be on a good facial SPF (at least an SPF 30) on a daily basis. I am also going to suggest, if your budget allows, that you consider going onto Lamelle’s Acnevelle tablets, to control the skin from the inside. Prevention is always better than cure! If we can stop the issues from occurring in the first place, then we can really make good headway in terms of getting your skin back on track! If you need help sourcing these products, please contact any one of our Skin Renewal branches and our ladies will be very happy to assist you. Please will you let me know how you’re doing so I can keep on helping you as you improve? Hope to hear from your soon.
