Hi there! Pink salt (Himalayan rock salt) contains a whopping supply of trace natural minerals – over 80, all of which are found in the human body. Regular table salt has almost all of these minerals stripped during the refining process, and only iodine is added back in. Whilst this does not entitle you to eat more than your recommended sodium allowance, it is certainly a nutrient-dense alternative to table salt, which offers far fewer health benefits in comparison.
