Question: Question from Frances Kovacs

I'm 60 years old and relatively well preserved, but the veins on my forehead stand out, which is exacerbated by hot weather or if I bend down. Can they be removed? or concealed with subcutaneous fat injections?

Answer

Good day, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the Laser Vein Removal treatments that are offered at Skin Renewal are aimed at removing the small broken capillaries, commonly seen on the cheeks, nose, chin and sometimes forehead. If you are referring to the big bulging vein in the middle of the forehead (and sometimes the temples), these veins cannot be treated with Laser. If you would like one of our Medical Dr’s to have a look, feel free to visit one of our branches www.skinrenewal.co.za . They can assess the area and maybe refer to do a specialist.
