What you need to bear in mind, is that scarring is very deep in the skin and therefore, to get you a good result in a safe and effective manner, we have to take our time in treating this, otherwise the potential is in fact there to make it worse. So if you are on a budget, this in fact works in your favour, as you would have to look at spreading your treatments out over the course of a year or so. The best thing to do with scarring is to use a combination of treatment modalities and topical prescription for on-going improvement. Unfortunately I cannot really give you an exact “prescription” without actually looking at your particular scarring, but the treatments could include a combination of 2 or more of the following (depending on the severity and depth of your scars): Medical needling, carboxy therapy, Laser resurfacing, chemical resurfacing, meso-therapy.
