Well done for the making the change! I suggest including sprinting intervals into cardio sessions – sprinting for at least 20 seconds followed by a minute or two of rest. When it comes to strength training, there is no such thing as spot training – you need to be fit and toned all over before you see it in the areas that matter most. I suggest lifting heavy for quicker results – you should only be able to perform 3 sets of 8-10 reps of each exercise, where it’s a struggle to keep form on the last few.
