Question: Question from Tanya de Langen

Good Day Dr. I exercise but still have some fat around my waist. I have read about the vella treatments and fat freezing. However, I do not have money to waste and would like to know in your opinion what is the best way to go? Or are there some new developments? Also is there something that we can do at home if our finances are limited? Thank You so much. Tanya

Answer

Thank you so much for your inquiry, Tanya. What you need to remember is that you do get stubborn, diet-resistant fat that just simply does not respond to diet and exercise and to really target that type of fat, you need to consider intervention by means of treatments such as Fat Freezing or Carboxytherapy or Velashape. On the other hand, there are other options available to you like medical weight loss programs that approach diet and eating and your metabolism from a totally different perspective. What is important is to make sure that you have the correct diagnosis and correctly planned approached from the beginning so as not to waste time and money and to avoid disappointment. So having a proper body consultation is very important to make sure that you are started off on the right track, as embarking on the WRONG treatment plan is going to leave you disappointed.
