To sort out the dark spots and pimples, we need to focus on 2 things. 1) We need to stop the pimples from occuring, as inevitably it is the inflammation from the pimples and sun exposure that leads to the dark spots, 2) we need to lighten the dark spots that are already there, and we need to even out your skin. If you are keen to just sort this out with products, then I would recommend the following: 1) Treat from the inside. Get yourself some Acnevelle tablets (these are made by Lamelle and are available at any Skin Renewal Branch), 2) You need to be using a night cream that contains potent Vit A, such as Luminesce Evening Glow (by Lamelle); Night Fader Plus (by Nimue); Retinol 0.5 (by Skin Ceuticals); Tri-Retinol Complex (by Skin Medica). Any of those would be great for use at night, and this will help for your dark marks as well as preventing new spots, and it will also help you to start evening out your skin’s texture, sorting out the roughness you are experiencing. 3) Then, for use in the day you need 2 things. You need to get yourself a spot treatment (such as Clarity Active Control Gel) to put just on the areas where you have active spots on your skin, AND you need a good hydrating sunblock with an SPF of 30 or higher to protect your skin and prevent any more dark spots from forming. Something like Lamelle’s hydrating sunscreen in the Dermaheal Range.
