In order to get the hair to colours like pink and purple you first have to pre-lighten your hair which will make it dry. What I would suggest rather is getting extensions in your desired colour. Then you will keep your hair in a good condition and the funky colour you have chosen will stay vibrant and not fade as it would if you put that colour into damaged porous hair.
