Question: Will bleaching my facial hair damage my skin?

Will bleaching my facial hair damage my skin? I break out if I wax or thread so I bleach my facial hair which has been working really well for me,but I would like to know if it would have any long term effects on my skin?

Answer

Bleaching is a very popular way of dealing with facial hair. Over time, bleach can sensitise the skin, but if you are careful and you make sure you’re always wearing sunblock so that you prevent hyperpigmentation, you may find that you will be absolutely fine. If you ever find that your skin does become red or swollen or sensitised I would then suggest you consider laser hair removal to just stop the hair from growing all together.
