Question: Wrinkles

I'm only 16 but I want to do anything I can now to help prevent getting wrinkles when I'm older. What would you suggest? So far, I've been told, stay out of the sun, wear sun cream every day, and no alcohol or cigarettes! Are there any creams or other methods you'd recommend? Thanks

Answer

You are one very wise young lady! Yes, all these things you have mentioned are most definitely very, very important and play a massive role in age-prevention. Your sunblock every single day is definitely a must and I am a huge believer in using a quality sun protection product on the face, so I highly reccommend the Heliocare brand. In your case, since you will not currently have any major issues on the skin, a good moisturiser for you would be something very high in antioxidants (again as a preventative product), and I would reccommend something like Lamelle’s Nourish, Revitalise Lite Moisturiser. Use a gentle cleanser that is not soapy or harsh (something as simple and gentle as Cetaphil). And you can then use a good hydrating serum at night or a hydrating gel to keep your skin young and fresh.
