What if we told you that you could mix your own fragrance without stepping into a lab? Newly-launched Solinotes let’s you become your own perfumer at home – no jokes. Each variant in the collection embodies a key note you’d usually find in perfume; think along the lines of rose, jasmine, amber and vanilla. There’s an original collection and a floral collection and together they cover just about all your favourite fragrance notes.
The fragrances were developed to be worn on their own, or as a Duo-Mix, allowing you to create your own unique scent. A Duo-what? Duo-Mix means the combination of two Solinotes scents.
So how does it work?
Exactly the way you’d imagine – select two scents you’d like to combine (we’re currently using Rose and Cherry Blossom). Spray two sprays of the one, and one spray of the other. Bob’s your uncle, you’ve created your own scent!
Solinotes offers a real alternative to walking into a store and selecting a regular bottle of perfume. Feeling glamorous? Spritz two sprays of Musk and one spray of Patchouli. In the mood for something active? All you need is two sprays of Amber and one spray of vanilla. Solinotes recommends scent pairings, but there’s no right or wrong. The beauty of this collection is that you can combine any scents of your choice. Imagine the possibilities!
Importantly, the collection is affordable. At R298.00 for 50ml, two scents still come in way under the average 100ml bottle of fragrance, and there is absolutely no compromise on quality. Made in France, the brand has been around since 2010, and it’s finally available in SA.
