Double-nominated Millie Bobby Brown may not have taken home any trophies at this year’s SAG Awards, but as far as we’re concerned she was a winner on the red carpet.
The 13-year-old looked impossibly cool in a pink sequined Calvin Klein dress paired with white converse sneakers. But it was her space buns tied with a demure black ribbon that stole the show! The result was playful yet chic.
Hairstylist Blake Erik twisted her shoulder-length strands into two sleek buns on either side of her head. You can recreate the look at home easily with the Denman Mini Bun Rings, R49,95, available from Dis-Chem.
Simply divide your hair into ponytails and secure in place with an elastic, then feed the pony through the bun ring and spread the hair around the ring and tuck underneath. Then pin into place.
Finish of with your favourite ribbons, and there you have it… instant red carpet hair!

I love buns. Especially when I work. Then I dont have to worry about hair in my face. My mom got Denman Mini Bun Rings the other day and they work great. Especially when you learn how the spread out the hair over them. And they look great too!
