Yes, your hair does affect your mood

According to a recent survey, 80% of women agreed that their hair affects their mood.

Dove conducted a survey that confirmed what we already know, that our hair and our self are intertwined.

When the female survey respondents were asked to share one word that described how they feel about their hair, 30% used the words ‘identity/personality’, 40% said ‘challenging’ and 30% said ‘confidence’.

It seems that while our hair is very important to us, we are constantly searching for products to take care of it. 50% of the women surveyed said they changed their hair products every three months. Loyalty for what?

Do you agree with the survey?

  1. So true. Bad hair days always get me in a bad mood. When my hair looks great on the other hand, I take a million selfies :-) because I just can’t help myself

  2. True! On days when you don’t feel your hair looks good you feel quite insecure. You add a cool style or colour, you feel vibrant. Hair does influence your mood.

  3. This is so true! I mean bad hair days influence your whole mood and confidence, making the day feel horrible!
If I have a bad hair day I feel kind of cranky about it, BUT if it’s a good hair day I feel soooo confident and proud of myself and my look.
