Arden BB Cream
A hundred years of skin care expertise and innovation come together in Elizabeth Arden’s newest multi-tasking product: Visible Difference Multi-Targeted BB Cream SPF 30. Part of the Visible Difference skin care range, Elizabeth Arden’s first BB Cream is the ultimate balancing act: protection and perfection work together to create bright, hydrated, healthy-looking skin.

One of the biggest breakthroughs in skin care technology, the BB cream originated in Germany where it was used to mask and heal surgical scars. After its rise in popularity throughout Asia, the beauty world saw a massive influx of new BB creams, each promising an array of functions and results.

What makes the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Multi-Targeted BB Cream SPF 30 different to other BB creams on the market? Its advanced formula contains skin-smart ingredients that adapt to users’ unique skins and skin concerns. That means that the product is suited to all skin types, whether oily, combination, or dry.

This intelligent formula provides multiple short and long-term benefits, each specific to the user’s skin requirements:

Oily skin’s clarity, tone and texture is improved.
Combination skin is balanced, it receives optimal hydration and both dry as well as oily patches are targeted and evened.
Dry skin receives intense hydration while the appearance of dryness and flakiness is reduced.

Formulated with hyaluronic acid and key anti-ageing ingredients, regular use of this BB Cream leaves skin looking more luminous, brighter, and with improved tone and texture. Other ingredients to take note of include vitamin C derivative (this powerful antioxidant fights free radicals and brightens the skin); liquorice extract (an effective skin brightener); Biomimetic peptide (fights oxidative stress that leads to signs of ageing) and Allantoin (a skin-soother). Very importantly, it also contains a broad spectrum SPF 30, which helps protect the skin from future sun damage.

The lightweight formula is buildable, so you can go from sheer cover to more dense cover as you please. Plus, it eliminates the need for a primer, as the formulation has priming abilities too. The Visible Difference Multi-Targeted BB Cream SPF 30 is currently available in three shades. Shade 1 is ideal for fair complexions with pink undertones, Shade 2 for fair-to-medium complexions with golden beige undertones and Shade 3 for deep complexions with golden undertones.

Why choose a BB Cream over your usual daytime moisturiser? The ultimate multi-tasker, it functions as a skin care product, a treatment and a foundation in one. Immediate results are visible upon application (imperfections are blurred and skin is intensely hydrated), and over time, an improvement in the skin’s texture, tone and luminosity is achieved. Apply a pearl-sized amount to cleansed skin, using either your fingers or a make-up sponge. Enjoy the long-lasting benefits all day long by sealing your application with a translucent or mineral powder.

I also wonder if its more effective than the less expensive brands. Sometimes as women we expect a bit more from big names and higher prices; it doesn’t necessarily mean that the higher the price equals better results. I’ve been using a BB cream that costs much less and I simply love the glow it gives me. Nonetheless, I’m gonna go buy this one and try it out.

I’ve hear great things about BB Cream. Is it true that it is quite expensive? I know Elizabeth Arden is top quality, but too pricey for regular use.

Sounds interesting compared to what other BB cream manufactures had to say, I would love to sample it.

I haven’t used it on my face but just from sampling it on the back of my hand – I can say that the texture is really nice and light. Very keen to give it a try since it also offers great SPF coverage. I’m also glad that BB products are in such small tubes, making it easy to reapply during the day and gives us a chance to try all the other BB products out on the market.

I would really like to try this especially since I am combo skin. I have been hesitant to try BB creams due to the fear of too much oil.
