QMS Medicosmetics Activator Mask

QMS Activator_mask

A pretty novel idea, the Activator Mask, is a deeply moisturising fleece mask that’ll refresh stressed, tired and jet-lagged skin. The application is the novel part: drop the Item Tab (the size of Corenza C tablet) into 10ml of the Activator liquid and watch the fleece mask swell. Then apply to your face and wait 10 minutes. The mask contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and marine collagen, to improve your skin’s elasticity and leaving it intensively moisturised and smoothed.

What we say:
‘What a novel way of creating a facemask! The QMS Medicosmetics Mask comes with a solution and fleece tablets, and when you drop a tablet into a small amount of the solution, it absorbs all the liquid and immediately grows (like a tampon in those TV ads, excuse the comparison). You have to then carefully unfold the fleece into the mask, and viola!

‘The QMS Medicosmetics Mask is very cool to the touch but after you’ve applied it there’s no tingling sensation as you’d expect. It doesn’t harden and dry on your face, so you’re assured that it’s not extracting anything from your skin. I’m used to the hardening, clay masks which soak up all the extra oil, but this mask instead replaces the lost moisture in your skin. As a result my skin felt silky smooth and not oily as I had anticipated.

‘The quickest way to younger-looking skin is a hydrated skin, and with a price tag of R980, it’s a totally indulgent buy!

‘P.S. that’s me looking a little too much like Hannibal Lecter with the facemask applied… ‘

  1. I would love to try this, my skin is dehydrated but moisturizing products seem to leave me oily? Weird hey.

  2. I have never seen or heard of this product before, I have had similar things done at the salon I go to but I wasn’t aware of a product like this that I could buy and do at home. A salon treatment of this nature costs around the same price so if you look at it like that, this product I feel is “do-able”. I think I would need to hear from someone that has used it before, before I shell out the money on it… But I must say I am tempted.

  3. I agree – Enough sleep and drinking water will take care of that, even though it takes longer

  4. For that price I can almost afford plastic surgery !!! Not for me – too expensive ….
