I am impressed with the different foundation ranges that Black Opal carries. The addition of the ‘pump’ range is something that I got excited over. The high-definition finish is really what got me hooked. This foundation results in a camera-ready face like no other. I went to a friend’s wedding last week and all my pictures are flawless. I had to purchase a shade darker than Carob (Suede Mocha) because my usual tone was oddly lighter in this range. However, this foundation has so much high-end quality about it, I overlooked that little issue.

It comes in a glass container with a plastic pump. It comes out in a small amount, preventing the mistake of pumping out too much of the foundation.
I generally avoid using too much foundation, so with one pump, I have enough to put on my face and neck.
It is very easy to apply and is quickly absorbed by the skin. My face instantly looks brighter, probably because of the yellow under-tone of the foundation. I’ve never had problems with large pores, but my skin looks smoother and supple.
My skin remains matte through out the day, if I stay out of the sun. Exposure to the sun or heat will cause shininess when I am wearing this foundation.
It has no scent at all, meaning it is fragrance free. This is probably one of the reasons why my sensitive skin has not reacted badly to this foundation.
I use my fingers to apply the foundation, and it is very quick and easy to wash off with soap and water.
