I recently purchased this item online and received it a couple of days ago. I am overly obsessed and cannot stop using it. I now incorporate unit in my daily makeup look as well as utilising it when I contour, it is extremely easy and worth the cost.
This foundation stick is extremely convenient. I use it in the morning to apply foundation by drawing on my face. I tend to focus on the problem areas (very red cheeks and nose), where I apply more product, and the spot it over the rest of my face. I then take a damp sponge and blend it in. It blends really well with medium to full coverage. If I need additional coverage, I just draw over the area again – it builds well. The yellow tint (No. 2 – Sand) helps to hide the redness in my skin. Before applying powder I dab my t-zone with a tissue to soak up any excess oil, which helps the foundation to last all day.
I keep it in my handbag for touch ups later in the day, and blend with either the Bobbi Brown blending brush or a finger.
I am so in love with this foundation! I don’t care what it costs, I will most definitely re-purchase once mine is finished. It gives excellent, buildable coverage, and blends super easily. I find it best to apply it with a damp beauty blender. It melts onto the skin and really does look like your own skin…only better. It can start to look a little oily after a long day if you don’t set it with powder, but I find if I put a light dusting of translucent powder on to set it in the T-zone, this takes care of the problem for the whole day. It doesn’t crease or move around on my skin throughout the day. What I love most about it, is that it really makes my skin look healthy and radiant. I usually receive compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation.
This product is extremely effective – I am obsessed with it! It is meant to provide coverage, giving you a long-lasting beautiful coverage. I love the packaging, it is small and very sleek & attractive. It has a sweet smell, like freshly baked cake. The texture is smooth and creamy, and it was quite moisturising. I love Bobbi Brown products but find their pricing to be somewhat overrated. There are just as good products out there for half the price.
I love everything Bobbi Brown. You honestly you can’t go wrong. The foundation stick is no exception. It applies effortlessly and blends to medium coverage. It’s also build-able to achieve full coverage. In my opinion, you don’t even need a concealer if you have this guy in your make-up bag. It does the trick perfectly.
The way I use it is as a touch-up for areas that need a bit more coverage after applying my normal light-weight foundation.
