I have had this product for well over a month now and I still have about half the bottle left. It instantly moisturises the hair and I can go a day or two without having to re-apply.
This product is also great for thick/course hair like mine. The lighter oil moisturisers tend to get absorbed into my hair far too quickly (especially in summer with the heat) and I find I will need to re-apply daily. With this product, I don’t need to worry about that – it stays as soft and silky as I want it to be.
One recommendation I will make is that you use the butter and oil moisturiser separately. Some people will tend to put hair butter (or hair food) on the scalp and then use an oil moisturiser on the hair. This, I found, causes a slick greasy build-up in the hair – making it difficult to comb through the hair.
As an African girl, you will know that hair butters and oil moisturisers are essential to the upkeep and over-all health of your hair and scalp. The 250ml purple plastic bottle contains a white substance (with the same consistency as mayonnaise) which is squeezed through a nozzle.
The product is made to restore and nourish dry and damaged hair. The product claims to give up to ten times less breakage leaving your hair hydrated, stronger and longer. And I would say the product lives up to the claims it makes.
My hair is so much stronger and it has definitely got that really awesome shine to it. It looks amazing and I am so happy with the results. Moisturised, stronger and thicker hair!
