I apply hand creams and lotions several times a day, especially after I wash my hands and before I head outside. The problem I usually have with SPF hand creams is that they tend to be greasy and shiny, which can be tolerable on your body, but not on your hands.
Completely new to DCL beauty products, I tried this hand repair cream one morning before going to work, and have been applying it every morning since. When you squeeze the product out the tube, it appears similar to most other white creams, but what differentiates it is that it absorbs much faster than most SPF lotions. Just a few gentle rubs, and the product disappears!
Furthermore, despite it containing a sunblock, it does not leave your skin feeling greasy. The smell is quite neutral, though it has a slight sunscreen-esque scent that dissipates a few minutes after application. So far, my skin has not burnt or tanned whilst wearing it (I usually end up with brown hands from driving and white arms from keeping them covered up).
I think this product would also be well-suited to older women whose hands require extra nourishment, and possible relief from age spots. As I am still young, I think of this cream as a preventative rather than a cure.
I’ve really enjoyed the product and would definitely try other products from this brand as well.
