‘The packing was great – the typical clean and fresh Body Shop ID – in navy, so it’s quite masculine, with highlights of cyan and orange. Unfortunately the packaging was a little nondescript in explaining the new ingredient – Maca Root – which The Body Shop products usually do so well. The facial wash is a nice size and quite sturdy; it survived being dropped in the shower, without the cap snapping off.
‘The face wash has a pleasant, fresh smell and lathers up very well, but left my skin feeling quite dry. Personally would prefer it to have an exfoliant, as I often wear waterproof sunscreen. I am a fan of menthol products, which this product has, although I only realized it had this ingredient after reading the packaging.’

I wish I could get a sample of this for testing, as my skin is already dry and I wouldn’t want to risk drying it out even more, as David has mentioned in his review. I’m not purchasing (not yet, anyway).
I bought Maca Root Face Wash for my husband so I wouldn’t feel guilty about buying products for myself.
