The styler is super easy to turn on with only a single switch on the inside which lights up when pushed into position. The straighteners then helpfully beep when they’re ready, so you can avoid haphazardly holding them near your hand to guess the temperature. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly the plates heated up after waiting a matter of seconds.
Using the GHD V Gold Classic Styler to curl hair certainly brought out more of its positive features, like the fact it’s completely snag-free and the coated, cooler body means you’re much less likely to get burnt.

It is very light-weight and therefore easy to handle.

I can enjoy peace of mind because of the clever feature where the styler will go into sleep mode after 30minutes of being on but stationary.

You only need a two point plug, not specifically the round two point plug.
My GHD by far was the best purchase that I made. Although expensive, by far best investment ever. I have tried various other flat irons and the results were not the same as the GHD. Amazing results in a few minutes and pin straight flowing hair.
I have no regrets making this purchase. I have tried numerous flat irons and nothing compares to the GHD. The quality and design is impeccable. This is for keeps.
I love my GHD! (had it for 5 years now) its the one and only straightener that works, so although its rather pricey it is worth it considering its’ effectiveness and quality (it lasts for years). The only problem I have had with it is that it is quite damaging to hair my hair if used often, I have cut down to using it weekends only as I was just getting too much heat damage and split ends. But overall this in my opinion is by far the best hair straighter I have ever used.
If I could rate this product with more stars then I would. I can’t imagine life without my GHD! It is just amazing, love it to bits. No other straightener gets my hair as straight and stays straight for as long as this one does.
I love my GHD. I’ve been using mine for about five years and it still works great. It truly is a Good Hair Day with GHD. It is really pricey but it is worth every cent spent.
