L’Oréal Infallible Lipcolour

The latest two-step lip colour product from L’Oréal offers beautiful shades that are locked in for hours. Gorgeous, long-lasting colour that doesn’t run, smudge or dry your lips.

What we say:
I only started wearing lipstick a couple of months ago (though I’ve been a gloss girl my whole life), and since I started experimenting, I haven’t been able to stop. From bright pinks to subtle nudes, I’ve tried lipsticks from almost every brand, but only a few have found a permanent home in my make-up kit.

This latest product from L’Oréal applies like a lip gloss, but dries like lipstick. It has a built-in balm-like sealer, so once you’ve applied the colour and locked it in, it stays put for hours. In fact, it survives constant sips from a tea cup, the occasional snack and hours of conversation. Plus, I absolutely love the range of colours it’s available in. All I’ve been doing to ensure the colour doesn’t come off is to reapply the clear balm over my lips a couple of times per day (as I usually would with any other balm). I love that it’s thin and easily spread, and that it doesn’t leave your lips with that sticky, greasy feeling I often get from heavier formulations.

If you’re looking for long lasting lip colour, this is a must-try…

  1. The L’Oreal Infallible 2-Step Longwear Lip Colour in 404 Coral Constant comes in a duo tube with both the lip colour and the lip balm.

The colour stays on the entire day, but the balm needs to be applied the whole day as it dries out pretty quick.

    But I still love it.

  2. This product is definitely a good product, however it is only good to go with people who can actually handle the matte feeling. Some days I found my lips to be extra dry while other days I could handle the lipstick. It applies perfectly like a gloss and once it dries you can feel your lips to feel slightly tight, which is a problem for some people because it feels uncomfortable. I’ve tried using other balms with this lipstick and it doesn’t work, so I guess once the balm runs out, basically you need another one.

  3. I like Loreal. They make some very nice mascaras however this product just didn’t do it for me. After about two hours, my lips were dry and cracked. I did not purchase this again.

  4. From the review this looks like something I want to try. Maybe I’ll luck out and get a sample in my ruby box
