I wear sunscreen on my face every single day, without fail. To me, a broad-spectrum sunscreen is the best way to prevent (or delay) signs of ageing, so I apply it religiously on top of my moisturiser every morning. I have gone through many different formulations and brands, and can happily say that this little tube from Matis is in my top five.
First things first – the smell is beyond amazing. I love the smell of sunscreen, but this product takes it to a different level. Secondly, and very importantly, the product absorbs easily and without effort. Like all sunscreen, it leaves a bit of a shiny look on the skin, but luckily it does not feel greasy or oily and I have not experienced clogged pores and breakouts while using it. A bit of translucent powder settles the shine for me so I don’t have to worry about a greasy complexion.
I put it to the ultimate test when I went to watch cricket and sat outside the entire day. I reapplied it twice throughout the day (so a total of three applications) and can happily report that my skin was 100% sunburn-free. I am now using it every day and have not been disappointed. I would especially recommend this product for fair-skinned people who get sunburnt easily.
