You never know when a new brand is going to hit the market. At BeautySouthAfrica we are always looking for new brands to introduce our readers too. When I was first introduced to MUD – Make-up Designory, I got really excited to find out about a brand I had never come across before. There is a full range under the MUD umbrella and I think it is a great brand for make-up artists to start using as their containers and colours seem very easy to work with. I got to test a lipstick and primer from the brand. The lipstick shade was Sandy Beach: An ultra-light, creamy natural color lipstick.
I am such a sucker for a good nude lipstick. I love this shade and got lots of compliments when I wore it with bare make-up. It is easy to apply and the sleek black packaging makes it look very professional. It did last for a while but I found that it did dry my lips out a bit. As I love the shade I wont be put off by it and will just apply a hydrating balm to my lips beforehand so I can continue to wear this gorgeous nude shade.

My title makes me feel exactly this way when I use the MUD lipsticks, it has GREAT pigment on the lips, and lasts all day, especially the matte ones. I have used Rose Clay and Lady Bug and I’ve ordered more since it gives a sheer, creamy look on the lips and goes great with the MUD lip liner. I use this on most of my clients, and they love this brand as much as I do!
