Kalahari Revitilising Booster Gel

This revitalising face gel applies easily and evenly and leaves skin feeling soft and looking vibrant and energised. Apply twice a day after toning and before moisturising.

What we say:
I’ve never used a face gel before (even my moisturisers are creamy instead of gel-like), and as it’s winter, I was a little sceptical about applying a product that usually has a cooling effect. However, after using it for a week I can happily say that I’ll continue using it, and that it’s not at all reserved for summer!

The gel’s consistency is smooth and lightweight – it spread evenly across my skin and absorbed quickly. It’s not as cold as I expected it to feel; instead it is light and refreshing. I waited a few minutes for it to sink in before I followed with my BB cream, and although I didn’t expect anything drastic, my skin definitely looked fresher and more vibrant. Plus, it felt more energised too – my wintery dullness was definitely less.

I love that it contains so many natural ingredients (I’m a bit of a greenie at heart). Every time I applied it I was reminded of the fantastic work that Kalahari does to help those who are less privileged and to make a difference in South Africa… It put a smile on my face and has become my “feel-good” beauty product of the moment.

  1. I am a bit apprehensive when it comes to trying Balms or gels on my face. I found that unlike other face gels, this one really is the cream of the crop. It has an EPIC scent and it is so easy to apply with no feeling of stickiness. There is also no residue on your face afterwards. I would definitely recommend getting this. I received it as a sample, but will definitely be worth purchasing the full size.

  2. Can anyone tell me if there is a restriction on age for this product? My son has very dry skin, and nothing seems to help, even moisturises prescribed by a demertoligist.

  3. Whenever I hear the word gel, I immediatley think sticky = make up looks patchy, but will give it a try after all the good reviews.

  4. It’s great to know you can apply it with your normal mosturizers, meaning it’s not harsh on your skin when mixed with other products. An all season product. Because I have a combination skin both dry (uneven) seems great to know I will have a secret weapon for all seasons. How exciting!

  5. The gel sounds divine – great way to combat the patches of dryness on my face that appears as soon as the weather cools down! As for the price – definitely not bad for a 60ml size – this is going straight onto my ‘wish’ list (yay for birthday month)!

  6. This is definitely a product I would love to try. Love the look of the bottle and that fact that it has natural ingredients in it. I assume we’d have to purchase it online though? Where can we find this product? The review does not say.

  7. That was an interesting review. Like the fact that it leaves the skin soft and energetic. Good one to have.
