  1. I am a big fan of long wearing lipsticks, and this is a good one. It is a bit drying, but I have not found one that isn’t. The tube lasts a long time, so be sure that you like the color! It stays on well beyond the 12 hour claim. My only real criticisms are that 1. I wish they would include a moisture top coat the way many long wear lipsticks do, and 2. more color variety. It is definitely on my repeat purchase list.

  2. I love Revlon products, however, I am highly disappointed with this Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lip product. It goes on like a lipgloss but dries in seconds to a somewhat matte finish giving you a nice, opaque coverage. That being said, it leaves your lips feeling super dry and sticky. Definitely not worth the price.

  3. I love the formula of this product, especially the depth of the colour. It really does last many hours, although I wouldn’t say 24. It does fade in the centre of your lips after a few hours, and the product settles in the cracks of your lips. It applies very evenly and is super opaque. However, it is super drying! It leaves your lips tacky and almost chapping.

The colour range is brilliant, there are colours available for every skin tone. The packaging is like a normal lip gloss. I only like this product when used together with a lip balm, even then it is not the most moisturizing.

  4. I tried the shade “Stellar Sunrise” which was a beautiful colour. The liquid lipstick is packaged as a typical lipgloss would be. The product however has a very unpleasant scent, but it does not linger once applied. The application of the thin, liquidy product was a bit difficult as it can apply patchy and needs evening out. After a few minutes it dries and makes my lips feel like they are “tightening”.

It feels sticky and settles into the fine lines on the lip. Once dried, the product does not transfer unless you roll your lips together, in which case it results in a very tacky looking lip colour. It applies like a paint where the colour is somewhat “glued” to the lips and smiling makes the colour “tear”. Even though the colour was long-lasting (and extremely difficult to remove) I felt it was the most uncomfortable lip product to wear as it was very drying and a lip balm on top didn’t help. I definitely wouldn’t purchase or recommend it.

  5. I absolutely love wearing Liquid Lip Stick but I have mixed feelings about Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Lipstick. It comes in a clear tube with a black cap which looks very simple and easy to use though.
The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the colour really pops but I was disappointed in the texture. It makes my lips feel really dry even though I applied Lip Balm and after the formula has settled it feels really sticky which I don’t like. I dislike the smell as well because it is not pleasant at all. If

If I had to recommend this product, I would only on the terms that the colour is absolutely gorgeous and the product lasts long, which means touch-ups aren’t necessary like some Liquid Lipsticks. Overall I would rate this product to be average. By all means if the person who uses it can withstand the sticky texture, this would be a perfect Liquid Lip Stick to try out.
