I love Kate No 42 lipstick by Rimmel but it seems to have disappeared… does anyone know where I could find it??
I absolutely love this lipstick. I previously never wore lipstick and I only used lip balms and lip gloss for a more natural look. I also struggled to find a nude shade that suited my skin tone.. And then I found Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in a gorgeous shade called “ROSSETTO” I have received a ton of compliments and I wear it everyday. This lipstick is affordable and really good quality with a beautiful subtle matte finish.
The Rimmel Lasting Finish lipsticks by Kate Moss are some of my favorite lipsticks ever!! The ones in the black packaging have more of a creamy finish. I have this in 01 and shew, and when I apply this I feel like a new woman! I love it so much, it is long-lasting without drying your lips out.
The casing is plain black with the Rimmel crown at the top with an angled top and Kate Moss’ signature (autograph?) across the side of the lid. The bottom is flat. I love the formula of this product.
These are my absolute favourite lipsticks! Their consistency is just perfect. The lipsticks are creme finishes that sets almost matte, but I wouldn’t call it a matte. They are intensely pigmented and the lasting power is around 4-5 hours, which in my opinion is excellent. 03 and 07 are really great natural colours and I have them in my handbag daily. They have a strong scent in the bullet, but once applied, it is not noticeable. I just wish they would launch the rest of the shades in South Africa, and they have a range overseas with the most beautiful pinks!
I had this lipstick until it was stolen, but while I had it, I didn’t like the taste of the lipstick. Otherwise, it was a good lipstick and the color lasted relatively long.
I do not usually go for bold colours but Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in Candy has really changed my perception. It comes in a black tube casing which is really easy to use and looks really classy and chic. The lipstick texture is really creamy, well pigmented, and easy to apply and once the lipstick sets it isn’t that much too shiny.
I must say the smell is really wonderful because it actually smells like candy. The smell isn’t that heavy once applied and it didn’t irritate me at all. Before applying the lipstick, I applied some lip balm to moisturise my lips because I have notice with this bold colour it’s good to moisturise for a nice subtle look and for a longer lasting effect.
It is really a great product and really good price but it doesn’t last up to 8 hours, more reasonably like 3 – 4 hours. Overall I would absolutely recommend this lipstick to anyone because of the good pricing and amazing formula. I cannot wait to try out the other shades.

It’s perfect for a day to day look paired with a sweep of highlighter on the cheeks and mascara or can transform you to sophisticated perfection when paired with luscious thick lashes and a smokey eye.
It’s not significantly long lasting but comfortable to wear with a satin type texture. After 2-3 hours a sheer wash of colour remains. I would probably invest in other colours in this range… this colour made me realise the flaws in my complexion and whilst it took me away from my usual looks I now appreciate how flawless the canvas is when women wear this look.
