I wouldn’t normally use a liquid eyeliner as I have not been too impressed with liquid liners in the past, but the Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner offers a unique twist. The slanted tip allows you to create both a thick & thin line, so creating the perfect winged-eye is possible (depending on how fine you want the line to be).
I used this eyeliner together with the Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner as I found the small tip of the Thick & Thin eyeliner to be too broad. In order to create a very sleek line with a perfect point, the more defined point is needed.
While the eyeliner does smudge if you rub it, it doesn’t transfer onto your eyelid which I find happens with other liquid eyeliners. The eyeliner stayed in place for 7 hours which is very impressive. What surprised me though about the eyeliner, was how easily I was able to remove it with make-up remover as quite often I find liquid eyeliners take some effort to remove.
Overall I was impressed with the eyeliner considering it isn’t too expensive, but I don’t foresee myself purchasing it again in the future. That being said, if you are new to liquid eyeliner then I would recommend this as the application is easy and mess-free.

The packaging is very smart looking in all black with white text.
The applicator is almost like a marker pen but extremely fine tipped, which is great for creating thin wings/lines around the eyes and with a bit of pressure, the lines/wings become thicker. It’s completely up to the user’s preference.
The fragrance is almost non-existent so it is perfect for people that are sensitive to perfumes or just hate strong smelling products :)
The application is simple and smooth, and the colour is solid, so there is no need to go over your lines more than once. A little will go a long way!

This eyeliner didn’t last me very long which was disappointing. I had such high hopes for this because I love Rimmel’s eyeliners, but this one smudged on my eyed, the felt tip is so sharp and it doesn’t draw on neatly the way I like.
Another useless eyeliner I have purchased with high hopes. Initially, I loved this eyeliner. It was easy to draw precise lines that looked good and tidy. However, after three uses, the “thin” side dried almost completely. I have tried storing it upside down but that didn’t seem to help. Other than it drying before I even really got to try it, it also fades really quickly. So by the end of the day, you have faded, patchy eyeliner and that really is not a cute look!
