Skin Creamery’s earth-friendly Everyday Cream is light enough to use on the face, and rich enough to use all over the body.
Coconut oil is praised for its anti-ageing properties. It deeply regenerates and rejuvenates the skin thanks to its high protein content. Baobab oil is an excellent moisturiser and works to improve skin elasticity – naturally. Rich with vitamins A, D, E and F, it helps restore the skin’s natural glow. Jojoba oil contains naturally occurring iodine and is packed with anti-microbial properties. This helps inhibit harmful bacteria that cause pimples, blackheads and acne breakouts.
What we say:
I’ve never owned a moisturiser that I felt comfortable applying to both my face and my body – I’ve always separated the two in my mind because most body moisturisers contain ingredients (like fragrances) that I wouldn’t apply to my face. I put this moisturiser to the test thinking I would apply it to my face once or twice, and thereafter use it on my body only, but I’ve enjoyed using it so much that I’ve incorporated it into my day and night routine. The texture is light and I found it absorbs really easily. I’ve been layering it over my serum twice a day, and have religiously applied it to my whole body after every shower. Despite the light texture, my skin feels soft and moisturised. I find it particularly soothing on my legs after I’ve shaved, and even the stubborn patches of dry skin on my elbows have softened.
It is filled with natural ingredients that are known for their skincare benefits, and these offer a beautiful light scent, which makes the cream such a pleasure to use. It doesn’t contain any harsh or artificial ingredients or fragrances. I also really love the packaging, and the fact that the product is housed in a glass bottle rather than plastic.
If you’re looking for a versatile moisturiser that nourishes the skin, is cruelty-free, locally-produced, housed in beautiful packaging and smells great without being overpowering, you’ll love this one.
