I only recently started wearing lipstick (I was always more of a lip gloss girl), but have struggled to find one that lasts as long as I expect it to. Already a big fan of Maybelline, I tried this lipstick in Infinitely Fuchsia, a bright pink.
I applied it just before leaving the office, and after a cup of tea and lots of chatting, the colour was still perfectly in place. The big test for me is whether or not it stays put during a meal – and to my amazement, it did. I applied it at 5pm, and when I went to wash my face before bed at about 10:30pm (two cups of tea and a dinner later), the colour was still strong. It didn’t bleed, smudge or fade.
If you want a lipstick that’s going to last all day in the office, this is the one for you. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it has a delicious scent and that it glides on easily too!

This lipstick is so true to it’s name, 14hr lipstick. I could eat and drink all day long without touching up, the lipstick stays and slays. I have number15 (lover),which is a beautiful dark pink color, so seductive! I guarantee that this beauty is definitely value for money.
I love this lipstick, it is so easy to apply and it lasts really long. I love that it is so easy to apply. It glides on so smoothly and effortlessly. Usually lipsticks start to fade off after a few hours but the Maybelline Super Stay 14 hour lipstick lasts forever.
I love lipsticks. My colleague and I are always drooling over the newest products on the market. I just looked at this picture and I am tempted to buy it. The packaging looks so modern, trendy and awesome. It is very appealing and the price isn’t too bad. I don’t believe in the saying that good things come at a high price… I always pacify myself into equations. An average lipstick lasts a woman about 6 months. Take the price divide it by the average lifespan of a product and then work out how much it “cost” you per month. So this lipstick would “cost me” R30 per month. If you ever feel bad about buying something expensive, divide the cost by the lifespan of the product and then you will see what it costs per month (that’s like 1 burger or so) and when you think about it, its actually not that expensive. I am so excited, I can’t wait to get my hands on this one.
I am so sick and tired of having to apply lip liner before every lipstick application. It’s a pain in the butt having to do mirror checks every five minutes, for fear that the lipstick has either a) come off on your teeth and made you look like some bloodsucker vampire who’s just had lunch, or b) that the colour has bled into the fine lines around your mouth. Imagine looking deep into your man’s eyes and having him stare back at such a pout! Oh, no. These are but some of the hangups I have with regular lipstick, but some of the reasons I choose to avoid it. All those stains on glasses and shirts, ew. Maybelline Super Stay lipstick might change my mind about this particular cosmetic forever. I am looking forward to trying it in either a deep red, or a nude. Cannot wait. Dis-Chem, here I come! :D
The lipstick feels absolutely great on the lips and an added bonus is it’s in bright pink which is the new red lip…. A must try.
Best matte lipstick I’ve tried so far! This matte lipstick doesn’t leave lips all dry and uncomfortable but rather leaves lips feeling light and leaves lips feel like there isn’t anything there at all. I really love the shade of colours available, it’s so hard to pick a shade once you’ve seen all the shades. This lipstick lasts around five to six hours on lips, especially through the snacking. I would recommended exfoliating lips frequently to get the best look out of your matte lipstick.
I bought it today and I am sad to say that it does not live up to its name. It smells nice and has amazing colours, but mine did not stay on longer than 2 hours. I will have to stay with Revlon Colour Fast.
Like the colour. It’s not too bright
I have this lipstick in red and I’m absolutely in love! The colour is a beautiful deep red which just leaves lips looking amazing. I love how lips get amazing long lasting colour, with no dryness at all.
