I am a big believer in moisturisation after every hand wash, so my hand lotions are never far away. I am constantly on the lookout for a hand cream that’s very nourishing yet non-greasy, as I hate having an oily residue on my skin when I’m typing or making notes. This hand and nail lotion from Vaseline does the trick, and ticks all the boxes.
It’s a little runny, but absorbs within seconds and leaves the skin feeling soft and velvety as opposed to sticky and greasy. I don’t feel the need to reapply unless I have washed my hands, as it leaves a long-lasting feeling of moisturisation. I bought this vaseline hand and nail lotion about a year ago for the first time and well I never repurchased as I felt it did not make much of a difference. My hands would soon be dry. Moisture fades very quickly.
I grew up with my mom using only this hand cream and firmly believing that it makes her nails stronger and her hands looking youthful.
12 years down the line and I am using it religiously. I always have one of these on my desk at work. Yes I try many other hand creams, but I firmly believe that I have to use this product at least once a day.
Unlike other hand creams, this one has a more fluid consistency. It is pink (bonus) and it smells clean and soft.
My skin soaks it up instantly and I have no trouble typing on my keyboard or playing on my phone afterwards as it does not leave an annoying greasy residue that you have to wait for to sink in.
A definite must have for any desk.
