  1. I received the “See If I Carrot” shade by BSA to try out. The packaging looked good: it kind of reminded me of my crayons back in pre-school. The lip shade glided smoothly onto my lips and provided a pop of peachy colour which looked amazing. I love the fact that it doesn’t have much of scent, this is great for someone who is allergy prone like myself. One con; I do think the balm could be a little more moisturising. After a while of having it on lips started to feel and look a bit flaky, so I applied a bit of Vaseline to my lips. Overall, I would recommend this product – it has a great shade and it’s perfect for anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd. All this lip stain needed was a little more moisture and staying power.

  2. I recently purchased two of these megaslicks balm stains in “A Stiff Pink” and “Rico Mauve” and I absolutely LOVE them!!
“A Stiff Pink” looks like a nice soft bright pink but when you apply it it comes off as a really bright, deep, rich pink! It works Wonderfully when you want that amazing pop of colour with a nude eye shadow look. I wore this the other day with WnW’s “walking on eggshells” trio and I got so many compliments on my makeup. The best part is that it lasts so long! I literally only had to re-apply my lipstick three times that day! Even after eating and drinking it just lasts so wonderfully! I am all for a low-maintenance lipstick!
The “Rico Mauve” is really close to my natural lip colour but it just completes my whole make-up look. Also really pigmented and moisturizing.
For the price(+-R50) I would definitely recommend it to someone who is not good at re-applying lipstick throughout the day but still want something that looks pretty decent after 3 or 4 hours. They do an amazing job of keeping my lips moisturized and doesn’t rub off if you apply a normal lip balm on top.
    5 stars from me!!

  3. The wet n wild megaslicks balm stain moisturizing lip colour is a creamy and smooth pigmentated lip colour that glides on beautifully, leaving a long lasting gorgeous stain of colour. If you are someone with dry, dull lips like me then this product is definitely for you. With just one application it transforms your dull, dry lips to perfectly smooth, kissable lips. I really like the chubby crayon look, as well as the easy twist for more conception (there’s really no need to sharpen it). Different skin tone will result in different stain colour. In my case i have tried “Coral of the story” which is definitely not for my skin type but would look fabulous on someone with a fair skin tone.I highly recommend this product,Its really not that expensive so i will be definitely trying out a few more until i get the right colour for my skin type.

  4. I bought this lip stain from Clicks a while back and I was rather impressed with it’s staying power even after eating and drinking! For the price it’s definitely worth it! The colour of the tube is not an exact match to the colour of the stain so I would advise testing it out before buying it. I bought Lady and the Vamp which is actually more a deep red and I love the intensity of the colour. This is a product I would recommend buying and I would definitely buy it again.

  5. These balm stains feel like melted butter on the lips, they are so creamy yet so lightweight at the same time. I love that these affordable, long lasting balm stains do leave a nice stain on your lips even if you’re eating or drinking. They’re different from other chubby stick products or balm stains as these do not have a scent, taste or that minty tingly feeling that you would get from other brands. The colour on the packaging is not the actual colour on your lips, I feel that the colour appears much lighter on the lips. Out of the 6 colours, 3 are my favourite, LADY AND THE VAMP, RED-DY OR NOT and RICO MAUVE. They are truly an affordable kissable balm stain.
