This cleanser is very similar to the one Clinique had a few years back. A thick solid wax that emulsifies and softens on contact with skin and melts off makeup. On contact with water it forms milky droplets which can be massaged in and then wiped off. I felt a second cleanse was required despite a very gentle cleanse as my eye makeup did not come off clean. I still love it and this will be my winter save as a pre-cleanser.
