This Catrice foundation has been the best find this year. Recommended to me by my friend who is a make up artist, she boasted that this was a dupe for the magnificent and raved about Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Boy was she right!

This cheap as chips foundation is holy grail stuff and has been a repurchase of mine since the first time I picked it up.

The packaging is a glass bottle with a pump, which is something that I love. One pump is enough to cover your entire face so this makes it very useful.

The foundation itself says it is a light coverage, however I feel this is more medium. You can tone down the coverage by applying less foundation and working from the centre of your face outwards if you are looking for a lighter finish. However even though I feel it is a medium coverage it is truly weightless on your face. It blends seamlessly and leaves you with a beautiful silky and luminous finish.

I have combination skin so I use a tiny amount of setting powder over the top of this to prevent shine, and can last the entire day without blotting. I love using this foundation for when I want my make up to look especially polished. I even wore this on my wedding day and my make up artist couldn’t believe how lovely it was to work with.

The shade range isn’t very large, however I am very pale and found the lightest shade 010 Nude Ivory is a perfect match which is often hard when you are pale skinned.

I find the best application for this foundation is a buffing brush as it gives you a flawless finish. I use my Sigma F80 which I love.

Overall this is such great value for money and a favourite in my make up collection. I will definitely be repurchasing over and over again.
