By far the most amazing fragrance I’ve ever smelt . It’s not an easy task winning the Men’s health grooming awards yet this fragrance has done it with ease and I can see why (or should I say smell why rather ;) )
Released in April 2011 I’m embarrassed to say it took me so long to discover . I was also pretty chuffed with the price at R895 for a 100ml and R575 for a 50ml its not to going to break the bank getting you to smell like a million bucks.
Packaging : Comes in your standard cardboard fragrance box with a security plastic outer cover to ensure it’s sealed. The actual bottle is simple yet bold with a plain opaque black outer and capped with a silver top embossed with the Mont Blanc emblem and name.
Notes : Top Notes Bergamot, Lavender, Pineapple leaf, Verbena
Middle Notes Oak moss, Geranium, Coumarin, Apple, Rose, Pomarosa molecule
Base Notes Sandalwood, Tonka, Evernyl
The Actual scent : One word “ legendary “ I’m pretty sure this is what James Bond would smell like. It has a fresh masculine scent with wisps of spice subtly floating around. This is the type of scent that would just make you want to bury your head in the chest of the guy wearing this (yes I’ve done it :p ). It’s also good to note that this is an extremely long lasting fragrance(up to 12 hours) and can transcend both night and day wear. A guys scent is probably one of the first things you pick up when first meeting them and Boy o Boy does this leave an impression. The scent is unique and has a sense of indivualty to it (you can identify a Mont Blanc guy) However if I had to name a fragrance that is smelt similar to, I have to say the Chanel Bleu or Platinum .
Would I recommend this product? : YES!YES!YES! The most amazing male fragrance and my personal favorite .
