For people (like me) with oily skin, blotting paper can be a lifesaver in awful shiny situations. I often use them in summer months. Having tried the “NYX Fresh-faced Blotting paper” (ordered online), I found the Palladio rice paper to be a better alternative in terms of:
1) Availability. In South Africa there are a few stockists of this product which make it easier to get a hold of
2) General absorbing power
3) The ability to soak up oil, not make-up. Blotting sheets can be considered to be a little unhygienic (to those that believe that, I’d rather have it on the paper than on my face). We don’t need them to be brown and tinged with foundation as well.
4) The packaging allows for one sheet at a time and are easy to access quickly.
