There’s rarely a product that Smashbox gets wrong, which they’ve proven once again with this Contour Palette! I’ve always found contouring a bit daunting because I thought I would come out looking like I’d slipped and fallen in a puddle of mud, but this palette is fail-safe. I got the lighter one because I have fair skin, and the colours are absolutely beautiful! They blend well and match my skin perfectly. It’s very difficult to overdo it because the result is so natural and leaves you looking like you spent just the right amount of time in the sun. I think the highlighter could do with just a teeny bit more pigment because I don’t find it to be too noticeable, but then again, it wouldn’t be very natural if it were very obvious.
To top it off, the palette comes with a perfectly sized little brush, and a leaflet which shows you how to contour for your face shape.
