While I do love eyeliner, I mainly only wear it when I go out or when I feel like a slightly bolder eye make-up look. I tend to stick to the eyeliners that I know, so I seldom test out new brands.
As my eyes are quite sensitive, I use a kohl eyeliner as I find it easier to apply and softer on the thin skin around the eye area. My first impression of the Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined gel Eyeliner was “wow, that is a fine tipped eyeliner.” It has the finest tip I have ever seen on a kohl, which makes applying a precise line so easy!
While the name implies that the eyeliner is a “gel eyeliner,” I find it to be the same formula as my other kohl eyeliner. I love the formula of the eyeliner as it is so soft and gentle on the skin.
I tried the eyeliner in the shade “Scotch” which is the most gorgeous brown shade. Bobbi Brown describes the colour as “a gold bronze with shimmer” and that description couldn’t be more spot on!
Overall I am very impressed with the eyeliner and I would definitely repurchase it. The self sharpening tip makes it the perfect eyeliner for a no-fuss application. That combined with the amazing colour payoff places this eyeliner right up at the top of my must-have eyeliner list.
