Beauty with heart

The Body Shop is launching a new beauty movement – Beauty With Heart – and I got to be apart of it.

Beauty with heart

After attending the campaign launch, I was delighted to discover that their three pillars, Look Good, Feel Good and Do Good, is not just a catch phrase. The Body Shop believes in beauty that’s more than only skin-deep. They want you to not only look good, but feel good and do good through using their products. They want us to be aware of community fair trade as well as animal welfare and their endeavour to protect the planet.

BeautySouthAfrica.com got to make its own pledge with The Body Shop, vowing to make the world a better place by being more environmentally friendly.

While the new range of very exciting products are yet to hit stores, I can divulge the details of the first product that’s been launched – The Body Shop Beautifying Oils.

Used on your body, face or in your hair, this powerful little product will help banish dryness, restore softness and provide nourishment thanks to a blend of three lightweight nut oils: Kakui Nut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Community Fair Trade Marula Nut Oil.

The beautifying oil is non-greasy, doesn’t have sticky texture and smells divine. Use alone or add a drop to your current moisturiser for an instant hit of radiance, beauty and hydration.

Available at The Body Shop, for R99.
