When I first came across this little item I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but now I am so glad I gave it a chance! The idea is to slip your ponytail through the hole of the doughnut, move it up all the way to your hair tie, and then wrap the hair of your pony all around it, securing it with Bobby pins.
I’ve been doing this on days when I want my hair out of my face, and it works wonders! It gives your bun a beautiful round shape and keeps hair secure and neatly tucked in all day long. Plus, it gives the illusion of a full head of healthy hair, no matter how thin your locks really are… If your hair is long enough to tie up in a bun I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I don’t do the method of rolling my hair around the doughnut, because my hair is too long. I make a ponytail, put this around it, lay my hair over it so that it covers up the material, and then use a second elastic to pop it over the top. Next, I braid or wrap the remaining hair around the base. It’s so simple to use and does exactly what i bought it for. I love the medium size because it fits my head size perfectly without looking ridiculously large. You can create very controlled, tight or messy buns that stay in place throughout the day. It is so light that It will not create a tug on the back of your head.
I don’t have the Denman one but I’m sure the are all the same. Very easy to use and looks good every time.
This is the only way to ensure a perfect, hassle free bun!
