It’s non-greasy, light and silky and has a very subtle but intoxicating fragrance. I couldn’t put my finger on the essence of the scent, which isn’t surprising since the essential oil ingredients are lavender, rose, marjoram, chamomile, rosemary, orange, geranium and lavandin. The result is beautifully understated yet sensual – I have to confess I love the scent so much I use the oil on my forearms when I’m feeling self-indulgent!
All it takes is a few drops on the face before applying day cream in the morning or night cream before bedtime – and the results are noticeable. My skin feels clearer, silkier, firmer and fuller. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone wishing not only to improve their skin’s health and appearance, but also to luxuriate in the soul-satisfying fragrance.

I’m a huge fan of the Clarins brand of face oils, and with winter creeping in, and my dry combination skin announcing this to the world, I thought I would try this as the price tag is significantly less. Firstly, the price tag makes it affordable for anyone requiring a good quality facial oil without breaking the bank. Secondly, it smells heavenly and the essential oil ingredients are lavender, rose, marjoram and chamomile, which are well researched heavenly smelling oils. These oils are filled with numerous skin and mood enhancing properties. Thirdly, when you use a tiny amount it does seem to sit on the skin for a few minutes, so it’s ideal for night time use alone or with your favourite moisturiser. Try it and see if you wake up with calm, moisturised, soft and plumper looking skin.
